Our client, a global Real Estate Investment Manager, are looking to recruit a Finance Manager based in their London office. Working alongside senior management, the role is to manage and control the finance operations for a Pan-European, multi-asset portfolio, so that the business is provided with relevant, accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have proven financial accounting and control experience within the Real Estate fund’s industry.

• Review monthly local reporting packs with supporting schedules, bank reconciliations, statutory financial statements and assist in preparing the year end audit schedules and year-end reporting pack.

• Prepare cash flow forecasts, financial forecasts and oversee interbank fund transfers.

• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting – you will support during the year end statutory audits and internal audit processes.

• As part of the wider Finance function, you will help to prepare/review/submit regulatory filings such as statutory accounts, VAT, Corporate Income Tax and Withholding Tax.

Key Person Specification:

• Able to demonstrate experience of implementation of efficiencies identified within operational/ financial processes.

• Strong project and relationship management skills and experience managing a third party relationship with ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.

• This role requires an individual with post qualification experience of at least 5 years (ACA preferable).

• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team and being able to work in a deadline driven environment.

• Be commercially aware with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

The office is based in London and the role is 3 days per week in the office. Salary £75,000 - £85,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

Fund Controller

We are working with a leading investment manager who are looking to recruit a Fund Controller to work on a UK Real Estate fund. The role is to manage & control the full financial oversight for the investment strategy, all financial reporting, dealing with all tax/3rd party advisors and overseeing the audit process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for all financial reporting to the Investment Committee. It would be highly advantageous if you have strong financial modelling skills so you will be able to prepare substantial dashboards to assist with investment opportunities, help illustrate specific operating/financial metrics, etc.

• You will be expected to oversee / manage advisors on tax, regulatory compliance, the audit process, etc. ideally you will have experience changing / implementing processes in these areas.

• You will work closely with Property Managers to ensure all invoicing, rent collection, insurances, etc., are executed quickly and in line with processes.

• A crucial part of the role will be overseeing / maintaining Fund and SPV liquidity. This includes cash management (approvals, documentation & transfers).

• This role requires somebody with at least 5 years pqe. It’s a brilliant opportunity for somebody who has an avid interest in Real Estate development and wants to work on a very dynamic fund but more importantly for a very forward-thinking organisation with a sound investment strategy.

Salary is £100,000 - £120,000 plus benefits & discretionary bonus and is full time in the London office.
